Manga creator Mutsumi Aoki is preparing to launch a new series titled Seinaru Hime no Kakushigoto, introducing readers to a fresh fantasy romance centered on a princess and a skilled swordswoman.
The upcoming manga will begin serialization in the October 2026 issue of Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine, which is scheduled to go on sale in Japan on August 18. An early announcement for the series appeared in the magazine’s September issue.
According to Aoki’s announcement, Seinaru Hime no Kakushigoto will be a yuri story featuring a princess and a sword-wielding heroine. The creator also teased that the manga will include plenty of playful fanservice, suggesting a mixture of fantasy, romance and lighthearted character interactions.
Further information about the characters and the central conflict has not yet been revealed. The title, which can be interpreted as “The Holy Princess’ Secret,” indicates that an undisclosed truth surrounding the princess may play an important role in the story.
Aoki has previously worked on several manga projects, including the Osamake: Romcom Where the Childhood Friend Won’t Lose spin-off focusing on the four Shida sisters. That series ran in Monthly Comic Alive and was collected into three volumes.
Seinaru Hime no Kakushigoto marks Aoki’s return with a new serialized project. More details are expected when its opening chapter arrives in Comic Yuri Hime on August 18.
