Clover Press is preparing a new premium art book celebrating the career and evolving visual style of character and concept artist Paul “Zeronis” Kwon.
Titled Reminiscent: Art of Zeronis, the upcoming 152-page hardcover will collect professional character designs, personal illustrations, fan art and detailed portraits created throughout the artist’s career. Clover Press plans to fund the project through Kickstarter, although the campaign’s launch date has not yet been announced.
The publisher says the collection will include both recognizable pieces and previously unseen artwork, giving readers a broader look at how Zeronis approaches visual storytelling through character design.
The Collection Will Cover Different Stages of Zeronis’ Career
Rather than concentrating on a single game or franchise, Reminiscent is intended to present work from across Zeronis’ professional and personal development.
The book will include original character concepts, polished portraits and independent illustrations alongside artwork connected to the entertainment projects that helped establish his reputation. Its selection is expected to demonstrate how his work combines semi-realistic rendering with stylized, anime-influenced character design.
Clover Press publisher Hank Kanalz described Zeronis’ characters as figures that combine elegance and strength while still communicating emotion through their designs. The publisher is positioning the volume as a collection for both illustration enthusiasts and video-game fans rather than only those already familiar with the artist’s online portfolio.

Zeronis Helped Shape Several Major League of Legends Designs
Paul Kwon is best known for his years working as a concept artist at Riot Games, where he contributed to champions and cosmetic universes that became important parts of League of Legends.
His public portfolio includes official concept artwork for Vi and Gwen, as well as projects involving Ahri, Elementalist Lux, Spirit Blossom, Star Guardian and the virtual music group K/DA.
Zeronis described his work on K/DA as a year-long collaborative project involving numerous artists and other Riot Games developers. His portfolio contains official concepts produced for the group, which originally featured alternate versions of Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa.
He was also a senior concept artist involved with the 2017 expansion of the Star Guardian universe. Riot’s own behind-the-scenes feature credits him while discussing the visual development of characters and the design rules that helped give the team a consistent identity.
Zeronis’ personal biography states that he has worked in the game industry for more than 15 years. He began his professional career at Blizzard Entertainment before spending approximately a decade designing characters and related artwork for League of Legends.
His more recent experience includes work connected to TiMi Studios, with his portfolio identifying him as a former Riot Games and TiMi concept artist and art director.
Standard and Limited Editions Are Planned
Clover Press will offer a standard hardcover version of Reminiscent, alongside an upgraded limited edition packaged inside a slipcase.
The precise materials, dimensions and number of limited copies have not been disclosed. However, the announcement confirms that selected Kickstarter tiers will offer additional collectible items, including:
- Exclusive art-print sets
- Sticker sheets
- A numbered collectible lithograph
- Premium acrylic prints
These extras will apparently be divided between different pledge levels rather than included with every copy. Full tier details should become available when the Kickstarter campaign opens.
Clover Press has previously produced premium, oversized art collections featuring established comic-book and entertainment artists. Its comparable releases have frequently used hardcover formats, slipcases and campaign-exclusive additions aimed at collectors. For example, the publisher’s DC Art of Jorge Jiménez volume was produced as a 9-by-12-inch book containing more than 200 pages, gilded edges and a ribbon bookmark. That does not confirm that Reminiscent will use the same specifications, but it provides some indication of Clover Press’ approach to deluxe art-book production.
The Kickstarter Has Not Launched Yet
A pre-launch Kickstarter page has been created for the project, allowing interested readers to request a notification when the campaign begins.
Clover Press has not yet announced:

A dedicated book can place professional concepts beside personal illustrations and unfinished experiments, allowing readers to see recurring ideas, changes in technique and the artistic decisions that connect otherwise unrelated pieces.
That approach should be particularly relevant to Zeronis’ work. His designs often balance recognizable anime influences with detailed rendering suitable for modern fantasy and competitive video games. His best-known projects also demonstrate how concept art must serve multiple purposes: establishing a character’s personality, supporting gameplay readability and giving other production departments a clear visual direction.
Reminiscent therefore has the potential to function as more than a gallery of completed portraits. Its value will depend on whether the final book includes sketches, development stages and meaningful commentary explaining how major designs evolved.
